There are some instances, where multiple payments for a single transaction has to be registered. These payments may be made quarterly, bi – yearly, monthly or as per the agreement to a particular contract. In order to make this easier, our Zesty team has enabled Multiple Payment Registration with Odoo with the feature of registering multiple payments in Odoo.

Multiple payment registrations can be validated through the invoices. In an invoice, the multiple payment feature can be enabled once it has been validated, a button called Register Multiple Payments will appear as shown in the screenshot below.

Once we click on this button, the following popup appears with the given options

There are 3 types of payments:

• Send money: when we send money to the vendor
• Receive money: Receive money from client
• Internal Transfer: Money transfer between companies in same group, or internal bank transfers

There are two kinds of journals: Bank and Cash. If we select Cash, we can just enter the payment, however if we choose bank then we will have to enter the bank account details in the mentioned fields.

Once the payments have been created, it will be shown as follows in the Register Multiple Payment popup.

Once the payments have been registered, it will be shown in the invoices with a breakup view of each payment that has been registered
